Ice Girl has been wanting a Zuca bag for quite a while. However, tonight I was at Michaels and found the most adorable hot pink quilted rolling scrapbook tote that I thought would be perfect for a skate bag. Instead of the hefty $150 price tag for a Zuca bag, I spent $20 for a rolling tote that does everything a Zuca does, except turn into a seat. Overall, I think we will be fairly happy with out cheap skate bag until Ice Girl gets a little more advanced.....perhaps a reward when she passes her Freeskate series.

Swonder Show
Survived our first Swonder show!
Ice Girl played a waiter in "Be Our Guest." Super cute show! Awesome skating by all the kiddos. We have a talented bunch at Swonder!

Ice Girl meets the Icemen
Swonder kids had the opportunity to skate at the Icemen game tonight! They skated on behalf of child abuse prevention. Ice Dad and I had never been to a hockey game, so this was especially fun.
The kids worked for a few weeks to get ready for this performance. Ice Girl was the first one on the rink (bug surprise there). I asked her after she was done if she had been nervous skating in front of thousands of people. Her response, "No. Not really." That's my girl!
